  • Earth Day Celebations

    Earth Day was celebrated enthusiastically by all the departments of the school. The tiny tots of the Pre- Primary classes pinned badges with slogans for moms with great pride. Students were also educated about the ways in which bio-degradable and non bio-degradable waste can be disposed of using dustbins. The students of the middle classes organized a special assembly where Earth Day was talked about with poems and speeches. The day was also marked with a plantation drive by the students which apprised them about their duty towards Mother Earth. Senior students celebrated the occasion with a special assembly organized by class XI where students were made aware about their responsibility towards conserving their environment through dialogues and discussions. A library activity was organised by the students of classes IX and X where they collected material about places that are important on the planet. Facts about the Earth were also documented and proved quite interesting to the students.

    Labour Day

    Labour Day was celebrated in a big way by students of all classes commemorating the importance of workers throughout the country. All the classes invited the workers of the school where their contributions were highlighted . The students from classes Nursery to II gave cards and chocolates to the the school drivers , conductors and maids and showed respect for their contribution to society which was a warm gesture. The students of classes VI-VIII invited them to speak about their experiences which too brought a tear to their eyes. The students of classes III-V also acknowledged the contributions of the school workers by giving them cards and flowers.

    Motherís Day at Aravali International school

    Motherís Day was commemorated with a host of activities by all the students as a token of their love for Mothers. The tiny tots of Nursery to class II dedicated rhymes and poems to their moms. Class II prepared a skit highlighting a childís love for a mother. Students created handkerchiefs with Creative art, paper bags, pasta necklaces and to top it all , a Certificate to Best Mom to make their motherís day special. The students of classes III to V marked this fun filled day with a Special Assembly which was a showcase of their talent of melodious singing and vibrating dance performances, all dedicated to their moms, which took away everybodyís breath.

    The middle classes created Motherís Day cards, messages on a folder that could be put on a fridge to keep the message forever, thereby putting in their own efforts to celebrate this day. The students of class IX and X wrote down an interview with their mom enabling them to renew the special bond with their mother. The Principal appreciated all the efforts of the students and encouraged them to come forward and participate in all the events to hone their creative skills.

    'Book itself attracts its reader'. Last week Aravali International School library conducted a Book Cover Making Competition. The objective of the competition was to give an exposure to the students not only to the library but also to accelerate their interest towards reading. Students of classes VI-VIII participated in this competition. They all did a fantastic job. Best entries were awarded. Principal ma'm congratulated the winners by giving them certificates.

    65th Independence Day Celebrations at Aravali International School
    Aravali International School celebrated India's 65th Independence Day in a grand way. The event began with an enthusiastic orchestra performance by Aadya, Naman, Sanskriti, Aditya & the students of classes 2 & 3 . A series of events followed that instilled the fervour of Patriotism among the students. Noteworthy among them are the Group song sung by Prerna, Manvi Narang,Parnashree, Khushi, Sahil, Irfaan & the students of IV & V titled Vande Mataram, the dance performance on "Jai Jai Hindustan" by the students of classes VI, VII and VIII and the street play "Bhrastachar Hatao" by class IX.

    Celebrating the Umbrella day and Pool Party
    The exuberant young students of the Primary and Pre Primary departments celebrated "Aqua splash" pool party on 28th July and Umbrella Day on 30th July 2012 respectively.

    The students reveled in a carnival like atmosphere and gathered together in colorful bathing suits and hats and carried bright umbrellas to the venue. Decorations of blue, white and red balloons added to the fun filled atmosphere. The sound of foot tapping music and the laughter of the happy young aravalites rent the air as they had a frolicking time.

    TEEJ
    The pre- primary department of Aravali celebrated Teej on 20th July 2012 with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Girls decorated their hands with mehendi and wore green bangles while the boys danced to the tunes of popular folk songs. A vivid display of food items and games stalls were set up by the young enthusiasts.
