World Postal Day at Aravali International School

Aravali International School Sector 43 celebrated World Postal Day on 9th October 2014 to create awareness of the role of Postal Sector in people’s everyday lives. The students of classes III, IV and V used different mediums of posts such as post card, inland letters and stamped envelopes to send messages to their beloved grandparents. . In this activity the children were involved so as to educate them on the functioning of the postal department. The children sent beautiful Diwali messages to their grandparents. This was done to make a difference and raise grandparents consciousness among children and they learnt and appreciated the role of grandparents in a child’s life. Moreover this would give a chance to the grandparents to catch a glimpse of their grandchildren’s learning after receiving these messages.

Aravali School sec-43 wins Football Championship.

Aravali International School Sector 43, Faridabad added yet another feather to its cap by securing third position in the First Mukesh Patwal Memorial Inter School Football Championship (2014-15). This championship was organized from 10th October 2014 at DPS, Greater Faridabad where sixteen schools from Faridabad participated. The President of District Football Association Mr. Anand Mehta and the Secretary Mr. Mahender Bhatia, graced the occasion by their presence as Chief Guest.

  • MOCK GRAM PANCHAYAT

    Students of primary department (Class IV) of Aravali International School, Sec-43 elected a mock Gram Panchayat on 3rd November 2014. They made the students realise the importance of Gram Panchayat, its working and how it benefits the society.
    The council of five members i.e. the five Panchayat members were elected after following the proper electoral process. The five candidates which won the Gram Panchayat elections were Lavish of IV B, Ananya of IV B, Rudra of IV C, Prithvi of IV E and Yashwardhan of IV I. The elected members decided among themselves to elect Yashwardhan as Sarpanch.

    Aravalites familiarized with safety

    With an aim to create awareness about safety measures, Aravali International School, Sector 43, organized a 15 days safety camp at the school premises for all the classes, to sensitize the students about the way to become informed and well aware of the social hazards and safety camp started on 3rd November and culminated on 17th November 2014.

    SCIENCE AND SOCIAL STUDIES EXHIBITIONS AT ARAVALI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

    On 19th July 2014, the students of Aravali International School, Sector 43 , Faridabad organised a science exhibition, Sci Zone: Learning by Doing and the primary wing showcased a Social Studies retrospective titled Unity in Diversity.


    With over 220 models, both dynamic and static, Sci Zone was an opportunity for the students to present what they’ve learned. In other words, it was their chance to theoretically apply their textbook learning. The students’ enthusiasm was palpable, as was their pleasure in speaking about their ideas, models and attempt to create something either singly or in groups. The models ranged from pictographic representations to 3D models of body systems, as well as applications in science around us. Notable entries included a Silica Garden by Harmeet of X F.

    Medical Checkup Camp
    'Book itself attracts its reader'. Last week Aravali International School library conducted a Book Cover Making Competition. The objective of the competition was to give an exposure to the students not only to the library but also to accelerate their interest towards reading. Students of classes VI-VIII participated in this competition. They all did a fantastic job. Best entries were awarded. Principal ma'm congratulated the winners by giving them certificates.

    65th Independence Day Celebrations at Aravali International School
    Aravali International School celebrated India's 65th Independence Day in a grand way. The event began with an enthusiastic orchestra performance by Aadya, Naman, Sanskriti, Aditya & the students of classes 2 & 3 . A series of events followed that instilled the fervour of Patriotism among the students. Noteworthy among them are the Group song sung by Prerna, Manvi Narang,Parnashree, Khushi, Sahil, Irfaan & the students of IV & V titled Vande Mataram, the dance performance on "Jai Jai Hindustan" by the students of classes VI, VII and VIII and the street play "Bhrastachar Hatao" by class IX.

    Celebrating the Umbrella day and Pool Party
    The exuberant young students of the Primary and Pre Primary departments celebrated "Aqua splash" pool party on 28th July and Umbrella Day on 30th July 2012 respectively.

    The students reveled in a carnival like atmosphere and gathered together in colorful bathing suits and hats and carried bright umbrellas to the venue. Decorations of blue, white and red balloons added to the fun filled atmosphere. The sound of foot tapping music and the laughter of the happy young aravalites rent the air as they had a frolicking time.

    TEEJ
    The pre- primary department of Aravali celebrated Teej on 20th July 2012 with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Girls decorated their hands with mehendi and wore green bangles while the boys danced to the tunes of popular folk songs. A vivid display of food items and games stalls were set up by the young enthusiasts.
